Ordering Web Hosting From Kickassd
This article will outline how you can quickly and easily order web hosting here at Kickassd. The plans in this article are what is known as shared hosting, but our hosting is a little different from traditional shared hosting. While you do share the server each account is completely isolated with its own resources inside a LVE (Lightweight Virtual Environment), this increases overall server stability, security, and performance.
Ordering A Web Hosting Package
1. Navigate to https://kickassd.com
2. On the top menu click Hosting Plans > Shared Hosting
3. Pick the plan that you like
Note: We recommend you start off on the smallest plan should the disk space fit your needs, you can always upgrade with a click in the future should you need it. Additionally you can purchase individual resources from inside your client area which gives you the ability to scale and tailor your plan to your exact needs.
On the next page you will be greeted with 3 options for using a domain:
1. You can purchase a new domain through us which is activated instantly and configured for you.
2. Transfer your domain from another Registrar: You will need to provide a transfer code such as an EPP code.
3. I will use my existing domain and update my namservers: You will need to change DNS records or nameservers where you have your domain registered.
Note: Changing nameservers will not cause downtime. For more information read "Does changing nameservers cause downtime?". Propagation after a nameserver change can take anywhere from 2 hours all the way up to 72 hours.
Choose Billing Cycle
Here you can choose whether you pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or bi-annually. There are no hidden costs and no contracts, sign up for as long as you like and cancel whenever you want.
Free Website Migrations
We will migrate your websites for free. This service is on best effort and may take up to a week for us to process and complete your transfer. Read more at "Do you provide free migrations?"

Creating Your Account And Selecting A Payment Option
Please note that completing your oder while using a proxy or VPN will most likely cause the system to flag your order as fraudulent so please turn this off before proceeding.
Credit Cards
Payment VIA Credit Card is available through Stripe or PayPal. All payments submitted are encrypted, card details themselves are stored only as encrypted tokens and used to communicate with Stripes secure systems.
